At the outset
From its inception over five years ago, Acquire Services has transformed itself from a small start up to a thriving group of companies and Computer Strategies has been on hand to deliver exceptional IT support along the way. Not only has CS provided ongoing support, but we have also been a guiding influence in the transformation from a non-electronic environment to a highly sophisticated WAN (wide area network).
The challenges
Acquire Services has not only grown exponentially, but the company has also moved its head office three times. At Computer Strategies, our challenges have been to facilitate smooth office moves, whilst continually upgrading the overall environment to keep Acquire Services ahead of the game in terms of its systems and infrastructure. As well as supporting many remote users, the environment also includes connection to a remote office.
The tasks at hand
Our tasks have been many and varied, including supplying all the hardware and software associated with rapid growth and multiple moves. We have also provided internet connectivity and email services and moved Acquire Services from the old Windows 98 to the latest XP operating system, whilst updating its server from the original Windows NT to Windows 2003. We have advised on mobile communications, enabled remote access for employees and expanded the company’s use of wireless technology. We have also supplied a leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and trained Acquire Services staff in its efficient use.
The outcome
A long partnership between Computer Strategies and Acquire Services has seen both companies prosper as Acquire Services continues to benefit from top quality IT support and Computer Strategies reaps the rewards of ongoing business from a growing customer.
